About Our Dietitians
Tracy Michael, BSc, RD
Tracy Michael is a Registered Dietitian and is passionate about growing, cooking and (of course) enjoying food. She was born and raised in beautiful Charlottetown, PEI and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from U.P.E.I. Afterwards, she completed the U.P.E.I Integrated Dietetic Internship Program with placements throughout Canada. Tracy has worked as a community dietitian for a number of years gaining valuable consulting and group facilitation skills.
Tracy is passionate about helping others improve their lifestyle in meaningful ways. She believes that food is an important aspect of culture and should be enjoyed. She is an avid traveller and has observed food as a "universal language" around the world. Food connects families to past generations (family recipes, traditional dishes) and has a wonderful way of bringing people together.
Tracy is registered with the College of Dietitians of Prince Edward Island and is an advocate for healthier food environments on Prince Edward Island.
